Warning: Obvious 1st Post Post

When Scott and I bought our first DSRL, Scott was in school and I truly baulked at having to buy it. It was expensive and it came not too long after having our Ben, and being off work, and it was just for a class Scott had to take. What did we need it for?!?

But God truly had other plans! He always does!

Not only did Scott use it for his class but I ended up taking control of that bad boy and took off with it! I studied how to use it, I took classes to better my understanding the manual settings. I learned about composition, techniques, the camera and the lenses!

There is so much to know about how to truly capture clear images. Images that I can be proud of.

I have practiced and practiced-my poor family! And again God blessed my path with opportunities to learn with friends and friends of friends, and then sports started to happen and I got to get game shots! I LOVE live/action shots! But I also LOVE Seniors-they are fun, fearless, and hopeful and it's great capturing that and their sweetness. All grown up yet so much to learn and know.

I have my style. I know how to work my camera and how to tastefully edit. It's time to expand on more skills...I need to embrace this business skill.

I have to trust God again that this is the path I am still to be on. I have been studying again, this time on how to make a website, set up a business, get licensure and look into taxes.

It's completely overwhelming!!! But I want it more than I am afraid of it. SO, here I go! Let the new fun begin!!!
